Our campus is located on 157 acres in the beautiful foothills of the Cascade Mountains in the middle of Oregon's covered bridge country. Our campus is purposefully designed to incorporate wilderness living which provides a naturally healing environment. Outdoor living and rustic surroundings bring many benefits to young people whose lives, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors were immensely chaotic and harmful prior to entering treatment.

A creek runs though the lush and forested property. At the heart of our campus is a creek fed pond. A floating dock on the pond is a favorite spot to hold individual therapy sessions.

Students reside in cozy tent cabins that are equipped with wood stoves, beds for each student, and space for each student to store his or her belongings. Each group of up to twelve students share a single gender tent platform, which is staffed by two youth counselors who live with the students.

Groups do their own group cooking at a designated cooking area in their campsite. Students work together, under the guidance of the program's dietitian and youth counselors, to plan and prepare meals. Our students learn about cooking, food quality, and menu planning, in order to better understand the value of a healthy diet and to expose them to the benefits of making healthy lifestyle choices.

We view the entire campus and the out of doors as our classroom, providing opportunities for forestry education, biology instruction, ecosystem restoration in the existing trout pounds, and a variety of other projects. Our school house and academic yurt provide an intimate environment for individualized education. They comprise small classrooms and a computer lab.
